It was over 20 years ago that Sharon
and I first met Pat and Jane. This friendship has always meant a
great deal to us and remains invaluable today. As I think about
it, over that time our paths have crossed many times as we have
worked together within organizations that are important to us. I
have never ceased to be amazed by the very unique and remarkable
touch Pat has with people and process. His ability to see, feel,
and hear things that are going on that most of us miss is a
remarkable gift that I have seen benefit many.
I will celebrate 10 years in YPO this month. Over that time
there are many experiences and insights which have touched and
changed me for the better. I truly feel and have experienced
what Pat’s gifts bring to the YPO experience. His incorporation
of content, experience, and mostly perspective is so necessary
for us as members as we move along life’s journey. Sharon and I
both have such great memories and wonderful feelings from the
